Physical exercises geared towards seniors, provide movement to increase balance, flexibility, strength and stamina, while taking issues associated with aging such as arthritis, bone density, fall prevention and various conditions under consideration. Mental activities, often in the form of card games, bingo, Bunco as well as art, computer classes and language classes employ memory, judgment and other cognitive skills.

senior activity 3Emotional and social support is a key aspect of mental health services for seniors. The Center is fortunate to have the free weekly services of an LMFT therapist from Senior Advocates of the Desert to help identify and address any of our seniors needs. Special events such as monthly birthday celebrations, holiday parties and mixers are held along with one time classes and educational seminars.

The Center’s monthly calendar, found on this website, lists the activities available along with the days and times they are offered. Please contact our office for additional information about what is offered or if you have suggestions for future activities!
